June 9, 6:10 am. Currently we are sailing through the waters of Hikigawa-cho. We have been sailing for 18 hours and we have covered 80 miles. Not a bad speed. Shinbo-san, me, Hiki-san and Ando-san from Kazi are all doing well. The wind is blowing from the direction we are heading in and the tide is going the other way too so we are struggling a bit. We should sail past Kushimoto around noon. I hope we can just ride out smoothly on the Kuroshio Current. (Current location N135.30 E135.23)
